Herbekj.
I've just noticed that you made your last payment November 2011 and you received you CC in December. I made my last payment 6 weeks after you and here I am here 13 months later with no certificate. Can you possibly imagine how disgusted me and many others are at still waiting for our CCs?

They are all good points. Our laws are actually pretty good and do have some weight without resorting to class action as in the U.S. We as individuals do have a voice. As I posted here a while back we as debtors do have some strong rights which include going to court and requesting a change to decis...

Posted - 12 February 2013 : 20:15:45 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- IPs have the ability to do all of those things without the need for expensive variations, so perhaps there is some other reason why it is being suggested to call such meetings? -----...

But this isn't news, GT have emailed debtors with this excuse already! So what! 1)Where are the details and paperwork some people have them and some people don't. We are now in the 21st Century why not link us in to the pages of information that we need? 2) And Where is the regulatory notice that st...

I'm still waiting for my paperwork but there have been a few mentions of having to give our authority for them to claim on our behalf. But I have also seen several mentions that we are in fact able to claim ourselves for the benefit of the creditors. Does anyone one know for sure which is true? In a...

That's about right actually, and some of the other posters are even angrier.
I see Sterling, I may have misunderstood it sounds like yours is the standard 60 months plus change...In which case your delays are similar to mine.

I have had a response to my complaint about no complaints procedure on their website. I have been told that I have to write to them to ask for it. When I eventually received it, it was a joke. Limited, ambiguous and patronising. I will retreive it and post it for you all to see.

Is there anyone else still waiting for paperwork to explain whether we have to sign an assignment to EIC or not from Grant Thornton for PPI?
I do at least want to see the paperwork and an outline of what we have to do.

There are some other threads in which IPs on this Forum have indicated that there is no need even for a variation to allow PPI claims to be considered before issuing a CC. We are all looking at the same regulations and it amazes me that the interpretations are so inconsistent. There is also no excus...

Wow that's quite a revelation, I thought at first glance I had got that wrong.
I think Karol has a lot on her plate judging from the acrimonious posts made earlier today by other posters, but I live in hope...

Thanks for the response Melanie. I have indeed complied with all the terms and have had confirmation from them to that effect back in March 2012. With regard to PPI I was asked if I wanted to appoint EIC at the end of July 2012 to make a claim and was assured that not only didn't I have to appoint t...

Spot on Jeff. I think you and I have remained civil in extraordinary circumstances yet others on the forum, see one particular post earlier today, may have slipped a little, ha ha. I am attempting to continue my civil yet firm discussions with our friends at GT off the Forum and I am giving them eve...
