Interesting to see changes, wonder if this will head north to Scotland? as Quote; Telegraph: "Currently the courts have to inform a number local organisations of a bankruptcy, and it will be advertised in the London Gazette and local newspapers. That will be scrapped under the proposals." Whilst up ...

Ray_A "It does appear that someone has come on here who we don't see much of anyway and creates chaos which is a bit unfair even though they may have a point!" Hope that's not me Ray? You basically don't see much of me as I'm not in an IVA, but a Scottish Trust Deed and although it's similiar, there...

Optimist. Don't go! All forums must have their balance, my own comments on your postings were initiated on an 'off day'.. I know you are just a single person going through your IVA, a lot of others have families, and trying to manage on a pittance for more than one, is hard (believe me). I feel humi...

Please do not take this as a personal attack - it is not - purely an observation.. Over the months I've been reading OPTIMIST12's postings and during that time the more I tend to think she/he is either in the Credit business or is verging on being sycophantic.. In my own instance I am just some poor...

Hi Dawn.e A bit about a Scottish Trust Deed:The chances of a Scottish Trust Deed being successful is higher than an IVA - maybe it's because the creditors are more likely to get their money within three years instead of five long ones - when a lot can happen (is it 26% of IVA's fail during their ter...

Noticed that Melanie mentioned below the new "Debt relief order" - not sure if it's been highlighted on this site, but here goes anyway: The Citizens Advice Bureau has welcomed new proposed legislation that will provide an alternative to individual voluntary arrangements (IVAs) for consumers on low ...
