We made our last IVA payment in early May 2014, (10 months ago) our creditor's variation meeting was held, and was successful, almost 9 weeks ago, but, in spite of several phone calls, we still haven't received our completion certificate. We know it's only a piece of paper but it would bring a most ...

It is now 8 months after we finished paying our 61 IVA installments. We have received the documents relating to our variation meeting in January 2015. Our anticipated dividend is 100%. Is there anything in this letter that we need to sign and return? Also we would like to know if there will be any a...

Am I right in thinking at the end of an IVA term, the IP will add £8000 for every £100000, (inc secured loans) borrowed?

Hi We've just been sent a "Deed of Assignment" to sign, contacted DFD and was told it was to hurry up the sign off completion, we finished 61 months in May 2014. Apparently this Deed is so that the company can sign us off but they can also claim any outstanding any PPI's, as these are taking too lon...

Topic: Do DFD allow a seller of a property to release equity a 15% allowance ?

Sorry it does seem a little vague.
If I'm required to sell the property we live in to release equity, e.g. Mortgage £150,000 sell for £200,000 = £50,000 equity, would Debt Free Direct take 85% leaving us with £7,000 (15%) for solicitor's/estate agent fees.
Hope this is a little clearer now.
Thank you.

Thank you for your reply Melanie. We're not so concerned about making more profit, just like to know what percentage, if any, will we be allowed?
Thanks.

Thank you to everyone who has responded to my post and apologies for the delay in responding. In reply to Melanie, according to a Postcode valuation, it's approx. £280000, however over the last 6 years or so, little or no upgrade/repairs have been carried out. That said I guess we're still looking a...

Thank you Shaun, I'm not quite sure what you mean, but it sounds interesting. I would estimate the valuation to be around £220-230000. How would we go about this?
Thanks.
