Hi Mel I have got one now, phoned around for the cheapest one as i could not get anyone to email me a quote. Prices do vary if you shop around but at least it completes my paperwork hopefully and we can move on, £75+vat was one of the cheaper ones, some were very over the top with their prices.

Hi im also near to completing all the paperwork required and with mels team too, so it will be great to go along with others at the same time.

hi niobe, yes thanks i have opened up a new account and have transferred most of the direct debits over, only 2 left in my old account which are due out soon.

Hi thanks for that i will get back onto them with this information, i just think its ridiculous that they are unable to cancel this sort of instruction.Lesson learnt i will never make this mistake again

i have just been on the phone to my bank and they will not budge on the fact they are unable to cancel the payment going out of my account from my card each month,even arguing with them hasn't helped. I have cancelled my card but they said the payment would automatically get taken from the new card!...

Thankyou all for this, it has helped us make a decision and we have decided to put any money away for when it is needed. I have written letters to all explaining what we are doing so i will expect to be bombarded with calls.
