Thanks for all the advice. My wife phoned HR and they have said the IVA wont be a problem. Huge relief and although we didn't want a payment break had no option. Thanks to Nicola from Mel's team for sorting this today.

Does say my IP has the discretion to accept one of the following:
A third party sum or 12 additional contributions.

I am hoping it will be 12 extra payments at the end, roughly equating to around £12000

This term is very vague, i should have raised it prior to my proposal. I assumed friend of family, but does need clarifying.

Can also vouch for Melanie Giles and her team. Made first contact with Mel at the beginning of Nov and after a few hiccups IVA accepted last week. Its the best thing we have ever done!
