I wonder if anyone has had any experience of this. I completed my IVA over 2 years ago, out of the blue I have received a letter today from the "Consumer Information Office" to advise that due to a high court ruling last year, I could be due a refund of charges. Is it worth pursuing ?

I entered an IVA with DFD on 6th December 2007, a full and final settlement was agreed in February 2013. I am currently chasing my completion certificate, as I am desperate to move on with my families life. I have an opportunity to take a new job/move, but am unable to do so until the CC matter is r...

I'm with DFD, my last payment was Feb 2013. Likewise I've been chasing completion and received an email template yesterday to say that they were trying to close but still continue with PPI. I'd would be so nice to resolve it all.

Hello everyone, I'm looking for some advice. I made my last payment in Feb 13 and am waiting my completion certificate, I've been told by DFD that this may take up to 6 months. I work in the Insurance Industry dealing with claims and I've seen a new job advertised, the salary is significantly more t...

I made an f&f offer by email. I was borrowing the funds from my mother in law, I just had to scan a letter from her to say she was lending me the money.
Hope this helps.

I can't believe it, no more payments !! My creditors meeting was held this morning and my F&F offer has been accepted, in lieu of extending my IVA for 1 year due to no equity in my house. The money borrowed from my mother in law was transferred to my account this afternoon and I have paid it to my I...

I was advised that my IVA would be extended for another 12 months, due to there being equity in my house, I was devastated, I was so focused on ending my IVA that I wasn't aware that if equity couldn't be released then the term would be extended. I thought my property had been over valued, I had num...

I was convinced i didn't have any PPI to claim back, however an amount of approx £14,000 has been claimed. I was disappointed that I didn't see any of it, but understood and agreed that it goes towards my debt. An IVA was a great solution to my problems. It is a long struggle, as people have said th...

I am in the last year of my 60 month(??) IVA. I have received a letter today to advise that my IVA is to be extended for 12 months, due to a) not being able to remortgage b) supposedly my share of equity is more than £5,000. To say I'm devastated, is in understatement. I was so ready to get my/fami...
