can anyone tell me if it is normal to still recieve letters when iva has been accepted. i am extremely worried ,just recieved letter from a debt recovery agency saying they are going to sanction a doorstep visit to the property and to avoid this payment must be made in 72 hrs. help what do i do ? iv...

thanks for the reply Niobe. no my ex is not in an iva. sorry didnt understand did u mean that she wont have to be involved in applying for remortgage in final year.

yes mel. it is to cover mortgage repayments in the event that any of us die. not sure why i am being asked to produce it. what will it be for and would i have to get my own life insurance if she still refuses.

i am thinking of entering an iva as i have deb.ts of 50,000, i have joint ownership of a house with my ex partner, however my mortgage will be fully paid in 6 months time. how will this effect me as i will have a lot of equity.
