Wasn't sure if they would as we have now received our completion certificate so all is done and dusted. I will certainly look into it. It's going to get paid, so wasn't after compensation, just didn't want it to happen to anyone else. Maybe best to email them and ask them to call you! Although email...

I wanted to post this as a "heads up" to everyone who has their IVA with Freeman Jones. A short while ago, I posted on here that every time I rang Freeman Jones, I was put on hold for anywhere between 30 and 55 minutes!! I had to make a number of calls to them to sort out our Full and Final offer an...

We made our full and final offer on 16th September to Freeman Jones. Sent in all bank statements, letters, proof of funds, house valuation etc. Our offer was for £8500 and the money very kindly gifted by my parents (after 12 months of not wanting to tell them about the IVA as I was worried they woul...

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has posted on this forum as each of you have helped us to have a very merry Christmas, indeed!! Because of all the advice people have given, I was able to enter into, maintain and settle my IVA in a way that kept things easy to understand and run...

I am currently on hold to Freeman Jones to discuss my IVA. I have been on hold for 47 minutes now, to a premium rate number!! Think its terrible that this is the case when the people using this number are clearly having financial difficulties!! Dreading my phone bill now!

Well, I have sent in the proof of the changes in I&E, let's hope that gets things going. Just waiting to hear back that it's been received. Hope this gets sorted soon. Am seeing the specialist about my back today and really hoping they are going to be able to offer me more surgery to get it sorted! ...

Thanks. I know we did the right thing taking out an IVA when we did, but with my health being the way it is, I'm just terrified of defaulting and am scared to take time off work when I need it.
Thanks again.

I have to say, they were very swift and typed up the report and emailed it to me for signing. Going to be delayed though as they have the income and expenditure wrong. Hopefully, it will all be sorted soon. Thanks all for your support.

I just phoned Freeman Jones to find out what is happening with our full and final offer that we made in September. I have been told that the person that was dealing with it has left and nobody has done anything about it!! Then told that they don't have the paperwork that I sent in - both by email an...

My friend has offered me £8500. I spoke to Freeman Jones today and they have told me what I need to send in. I just hope this will be accepted as I really don't want to default on the IVA. I have handed in my notice at work (as I feel I will be unable to fulfil my role, and will eventually be sacked...

With the equity clause in place, and being almost a year in, would you times current payments by 4 (years left before equity release) or 5?
Thanks.

Hi. Thanks again for a helpful reply. I am making a claim although it looks like it will go on for some time, probably longer than the IVA , as prognosis is difficult due to the fact that its still ongoing - surgery has helped, but only partially. I didn't claim industrial injuries benefit as that h...
