Thanks Foggy, yes I did sign the spotty forms. Just wondered that as I have completion certificate I waived all rights to any refunds. I signed the forms right at the end of the IVA as they wouldn't send completion cert without them.

My IVA was with Grant Thornton and they did tell me I would get 8% interest on any successful claims. Do they have to tell me if they have had any claims paid, or can they keep quiet and keep it? Also, what about all these loans having to repay interest regarding not sending annual statements, is th...

My IVA finished Sept 2013 and I have now received my completion certificate. I completed and returned all the PPI forms and wondered if I will still be entitled to the 8% interest on any claims being as my IVA is completed. If so how will I know what PPI has been clamied - who would I contact? Many ...

Our IVA was settled last Sept in a variation meeting that agreed on payments to date.

I am still waiting for completion certificate and want to sell the house as it has no equity and we can't afford it.

How do I go about selling it if I don't have the completion cert?

Thanks

We've been into our IVA for 3 years. My husband lost his job 6 weeks ago and has just managed to get another now, training starts next week. I have now lost my job.

If we can't pay the IVA how long will it take to fail? Would it be better to just go for bankruptcy now?

Many thanks

If it was to go to court what would happen. The value of the house has dropped so much that the mortgage would be covered but only half of what we owe Nemo, plus we have another 15 years to pay them both left. Would Nemo do that when they are going to lose out, in a couple of years the IVA will be f...

Thanks for your reply Melanie, if I just paid and extra £10 per month would that be seen as trying to pay off the arrears. We didn't take PPI out.

Hi, thanks for all your replies. Even if I was to sell the house, after paying off the mortgage Nemo would only get a maximum of 50% of what we owe them. So if they went for repossession I would assume they would get even less than that. I can't understand why they are doing this as in a few years w...

I started an IVA in Nov 2009. Last year my husband lost his job as a manager so we got behind in our secured loan (Nemo Finance) and IVA payments. We made arrangements to reduce our IVA payment by 15% and had an agreement to pay half of the Nemo payment for 6 months. We then carried on as normal for...
