Im very very new to this in fact so new not gone IVA yet and still may not however from what Ive read any payment break is normally added to end of the IVA ??

No IVA for me then as wont go into this unless supported by my wife - fully understand where she is coming from though.

Lookes like another few years of stress and being less than skint for me.

Spoke to NDLine this morning and apparently from 1st October an unsecured lender like a credit card company can apply to the courts to have a charge put against your property if a CCJ is granted. ???

Possibly misunderstood what was being said as head all over place at moment [:(]

Is it common for IVA's to be accepted even with some modifications or do a lot of them get turned down by the creditors so your then back to square 1 ?

Hi Melanie .... you one reply has just lifted a huge weight from my shoulders ... do you take clients on from North Wales ?? The 100k came from her sole property she sold so we could buy this one .. she bought it 2 years previous before I met her from the proceeds of a divorce settlement and a mortg...

Thanks for replies so far ... feeling so ashamed to have got to this stage ... just to clarify in case anyone thinks why dont he remortgage to release some equity - tried that but only get as far as enquiry stage due to the dreaded words of "self employed" and only 1st year accounts ... the mortgage...
