Thanks for your reply. I agreed to extend the term to 72 months as my husband became unemployed and the monthly payments dropped. A 12 month extension was agreed to cover the drop. In my proposal it definately states that equity is not included. Ip has advised that it was not included in proposal bu...

Hi all, I have another question if someone could help. In my original proposal my equity in my property was not included, it was very little so proposal did not include this. I have now paid all the payments 72 months in total. My last meeting to end IVA is in August. (my last payment was in FEB 201...

Thanks for your response Melanie I appreciate you are busy. I have read on numerous sites that Creditors can take all the money from PPI claims and the Debtor can be left with the bill from the CMC. I spoke to my IP today as they instructed a CMC without my consent. I put across my concerns of being...

My IP instructed a claims management company without me knowing. Had I not disputed the extention for PPI and HMRC, I would never have known they were instructed. I opted to do it myself to make sure if there were any PPI claims then the creditors would get the full amount. It's important to note as...

I have just come off the phone after a lengthy conversation with IP. They have rewritten my variation and worded: For the avoidance of doubt, the debtor will receive release from all debts that are subject to the IVA upon the Supervisor issuing his Notice of Completion. notwithstanding that the VAT ...

Hi Melanie thanks for the response. We are not looking for an argument or heated discussion, just clear accurate helpful advice. Your correct it is not up to HMRC to decide wether to extend cases or not, but isn't it a fact that IP's can actually claim back the tax after the IVA has been closed ??? ...

Here today I just read your thread. It's shocking. You are clearly a victim as am I here. I have spoken to HMRC yesterday , they clearly advised me that under no circumstances should an IVA be kept open for IP to claim back VAT, this can be done after the IVA has closed. The FOS also state that ther...

Thanks for your response on this one. I am still in limbo. I need to know what will happen to me if I do not sign the variation they propose? Can I myself apply to the court and get this resolved. I know the creditors just want their money. They have waited 6.5 years for it. There must be a way to d...

Hi, Keiser. I am in a similar situation. I too have been in and IVA for 72 months, however mine was extended as my husband lost his job. This 12 mth extension was to cover the lower agreed variation. In Feb this year, My IVA was due to end however there was a modfication for equity. I tried to relea...
