Hi All, I first posted on here about 7 years ago, when I was completely skint, neck deep & rising in debt, thoroughly miserable & didn’t see any way out of the situation. Thanks to the advice & understanding I got on here, I ended up in an IVA. I’d managed to rack up 28k of debt & had basically noth...

I had the same, my default dates were incorrect & a couple of things didn’t fall off my report when they should have dragging my score way down. Just speak to the creditors directly & they will correct it for you, although it took me a few months & several phone calls to get it all corrected. Worth ...

They took over mine from RSM Tenon & I never had any issues with them if I’m honest. That said, I never once had to contact them, my IVA ran very smoothly throughout so I can’t really comment on how well they resolve issues as I didn’t actually have any. Completed my IVA quickly & I got my certifica...

Gah, I’ve just sent it today & only included my completion certificate.

Thanks again Foggy, Is there anything in particular I should send them? My completion certificate only has the completion date on, not the commencement date & i’m no longer on the insolvency register. Have to say it’s staggering that in 2018 you have to send a physical letter to Barclays to get this...

No, they should all read August 2012 (as the others all do) yet the 2 Barclays ones show as September 2012 & 2013. September 2012 I'd just leave as it’s only a couple of weeks but an entire year later is completely unacceptable. Annoyingly I’ve only just noticed the 2013 date or I’d have taken actio...

Thanks Foggy. Yeah I’d never have taken the settlement loan if I’d been happy at work, I’d have just let it play out as it has but it felt like it gave me an opportunity to start to rebuild a bit earlier which thankfully seems to have paid off. I’ve been checking my credit reports since my completio...

Wow, reading this brings back some dark days! Almost 6 years on, everything went amazingly well. Getting used to not having credit took a while, it had always been there as some sort of comfort blanket. What also took a while to get used to was actually having money for myself left when I’d paid eve...

I've read it again & all it states is that it follows standard IVA procedures as set out by the IVA forum (revised in 2012.) There's no specific mention of overtime in the actual proposal, but having read that document, the 110% figure is in there. The figure itself is not actually part of the chair...

Just received a copy of my chairman's report. I was told on the phone prior that 50% of any additional income was mine to keep & 50% went into the IVA. However, my summary of responsibilities states, "You have agreed to pay 50% of any additional income, over and above 110% of the figure stated in th...

I'm doing 6 years, not 7. My creditors have actually all been extremely understanding. I've been honest & explained my circumstances to them & i've had very little bother off them.
I can handle 6 years though, it's just taken the shine off it a little.

Hmmm.
Just rang them. Accepted but with a proposed modification of an extra year. My dividend was low, so i'm not exactly shocked but it's tainted it a little. Still a far better position than i was in a couple of months ago though, so i don't feel too bad about it.
