Thank you so much for your replies, especially yours Michael. I am wishing and praying that this is the case regarding the personal injury claim. Do you know how I would find the contact details for our local receivers office so that I can check this out with them? I was thinking how totally unfair ...

Nothing has happened Michael unfortunately, head in the sand time if i'm being honest. I think Bankruptcy is the only option for us now what concerns me is a personal injury claim we are due to receive within the next year and as horrible and selfish as it sounds I wish there were a way that we coul...

Started our IVA in July 2011 and by January 2012 told them we would have to fail the it as we couldn't afford the repayments. They never once offered to look into our income and expenditure or anything and told us that we would have to have our PPI checked before it could be closed. We had the PPI p...

We just cant afford to pay it Melanie. When they first did it alot of our expenses were massively wrong and it was just impossible to find the extra £213 a month to pay into the IVA. We are just going to go for bankruptcy when the issues with the house are settled (either it sells or is repossessed)...

When our IVA offically fails, will the add up all the coppers in the pot and distribute it to the relevant creditors and then they can start chasing us again for the new amount?? And also, what happens to the 2 creditors that never turned up to the initial meeting and havent put any claim in for any...

Even though we've already signed the forms to give them authority to make a claim?? This is sooo confusing. Why cant they just be honest with you and say look 'youve stopped paying your IVA, its going to fail, thats it'??? I was under them impression that they wouldn't let the IVA officially fail un...

Hey everyone. Its been a while since ive been on the forum. Well, we failed the IVA in December (because we simply couldnt afford to pay it every month) - it still hasnt ended because of the PPI investigations they are doing. We got sent a letter from the IP with the details of the PPI investigators...

Ok, so I suppose most people know our situation by now. We need a bigger house so we are moving out, will no longer be able to afford the mortgage so will probably lose the house. The IVA will fail as we have no spare money to pay the £213 payments. We have been in the IVA for 16 months. The origina...
