Completion report and letter received about 8 weeks after final payment. Bridgestones have been really helpful throughout. Always quick to respond to questions and very supportive - even when my questions were a little dumb. Strange feeling not owing anything at last. Determined to reflect on lesson...

I have just completed my iva paying 100% plus fees and waiting for completion letter. If at some time in future a PPI refund happens does this belong to me or Iva creditors.

It's a strange feeling after 3 years struggling prior to Iva and then 4+ sticking to I&E budget. A small glass of wine calledfor when I get home tonight. Thanks to all on the forum for their advice. I've monitored every week far more than I've posted but have found the advice and feedback on other p...

Not sure if I'm supposed to give names but perhaps moderator will remove if I'm out of order. The company is Bridgestones and I have had 4+ years consistently high level of support and advice from Paul....

My IVA company confirmed I have made sufficient payments to cover debt at 100% + fees and that no further payments are due. In fact they are arranging a refund of a small over-payment from this months direct debit. All confirmed in an email and discussed the completion certificate should be released...

My debts were £40,000 and fees stated as £8,900 on the summary sheet issued with my Iva and creditors report. The sheet anticipated equity release and used the phrase "payments offered £57,000". I have received pay rises, bonuses and PPI refunds that have meant I have paid the £57,000. I am part...

Thanks for the advice. I also registered with Noodle and found all of my original debts listed with current balances which have been reducing as the IP paid dividends every quarter.

There is no mention of interest in my documents. Simply a table showing payments to be made = debt + fees = 100p in the pound. I'm going to hit the payment level about Sep so hoping that will complete The Iva payments wise (subject to the timing rules that apply to the Insolvency register). Have I m...

My IVA documents state an anticipated dividend of 100% based on payments made + equity release covering 100% debts plus estimated fees. I am in the fortunate position that due to pay rises, some bonus payments and PPI refunds I will have paid the 100% + fees figure about half way through year 5. I a...

I am fairly new to this forum having been in IVA about 14 months. I didn't find the forum until my IVA had been set up. I spoke to a couple of firms from google searches and went with Bridgestones who never seem to get a mention here. They have been very supportive with lots of time spent talking th...

Does someone understand the 50% rule please. I had pay rise in year 1 and immediately paid 50% of it into the IVA. This was in the terms - had to be declared within 14 days and payment adjusted. Now at first year review and wondered if all of the pay rise gets sucked into the IVA payment or do I get...

Hi Lesley,
Thanks for the reply - I may not have been clear but I am at the end of Year 1 and have not completed my IVA. I could raise the question direct with my IP but I was hoping to gain the advice from the forum first.

Any advice or suggestions are most appreciated as this is my first review.

First Annual Review. I have been very lucky and managed to gain a promotion at work and later an annual RPI pay rise during my first year. My terms require me to pay 50% of the increase immediately (next month) instead of being reviewed at the end of each year as some IVAs do. Over the first year my...
