There is no record of me being in an IVA on my credit file or with the insolvency service. By IP, do you mean DFD or Fairpoint? If so both companies no longer in business.

I am in exactly the same situation with DFD and also received their blanket response. If I was a cynical person, I might suggest that it was in DFD's best interest to not continue with F&F settlements, as it means they can reclaim full IP fees rather than the reduced amounts from early closures. But...
