So after over 5 years, a change in the company handling my IVA and numerous anxiety attacks and stress, my IVA completion certificate came through today! It’s been a tough ride but a lesson well learnt and I’m looking forward to re-building my credit score in a sensible way. Thank you to everyone on...

Hi - I was able to get a second hand car through finance even with my IVA. I used a company called Moneybarn and they were great. My IP held a variation and an amount was approved for finance. The only downside was that they added an additional 12 months to the IVA as the money I am paying to the fi...

I’m still not sure I’ve got the correct story to be honest. I’ve sent in my complaint about the way I wasn’t kept informed and was assured that the offer would be accepted and then ultimately wasn’t. I’m hoping that it might just get them to check their procedures so that this doesn’t happen to anyo...

Hi Kallis It’s one of my creditors that is refusing to accept the offer from Sprout Loans. Seems a bit daft to me as they would have their money, why do they care where it comes from? Also, it’s a debt collection agency that have refused, everyone else said yes. Unfortunately, they have the largest ...

I have spoken with CF this morning and to say I am annoyed is an understatement. They have now said that the variation was declined as part of the offer was a loan from Sprout Loans. This wasn't mentioned to me at all throughout the process and CF even spoke to SL to confirm the amount needed to be ...

Good afternoon all I'm hoping someone on here can help and advise me on whether I need to do anything further at this point. My issue is as follows: I would like to offer a full and final to close down my IVA. My main reason for doing this is I was moved over to CF from another provider and I am not...

I found my original report along with the annual statements and CF have provided me with one on request today. The reason this creditor isn't being paid is because they haven't sent in proof of debt - no proof, no money to be paid. I have made my creditor aware of this and left it in their hands. Th...

Hi Foggy Thank you for your reply - I will dig out the original report. This creditor is saying that have received no payments at all since my IVA started which is a worry. I can see from my credit report that the balance on the other debts is going down so not sure why this one isn't. I didn't sign...

Thought I would jump on here instead of starting another. I have been in an IVA since 2015 and it's ticking along nicely. I was moved over to Creditfix from Knightsbridge in 2017 and I have now had a statement of account from one of my creditors which shows no change in 12 months. I have queried thi...

Hi My IVA was moved to CreditfIx along with many other Knightsbridge customers. I wrote to them last week as I have had a bonus payment and was requesting if I could keep any of the bonus paid over to my creditors as we are in need of a new sofa, tumble dryer (last one died after 17 years!) amongst ...

Thanks Ryan, I had read that before posting but it didn’t answer my question. However, after reading more posts I can see many others are in the same predicament and that I don’t have to sign anything and my IVA will continue on the previous terms.
Thank you for taking the time to reply

Hi, my IVA with Knightsbridge has been sold/passed on to Credit Fix. I have never heard of them but I have received a letter from my old IVA provider with a letter from Credit Fix included. Within this letter it asks me to sign a document authorising them to investigate PPI (won’t get anything, alre...

Hi,
Thank you for that - guess I just had a little panic seeing red on the file. Not long to go until they drop off for good. Roll on April next year
