Hi GilliB, I was in the first year of my IVA when I had to retire due to ill health in my mid 50's so I empathise with you. Using the redundancy money and taking some of my pension funding as a lump sum I was able to offer 40p per £1 instead of the 45p per £1 and it was accepted. (I seem to remember...

Well, my six years ended mid March and I'm still trying to clear up my credit file. I obtained all 3 agencies files on me at the beginning of last year and wrote to all the relevant creditors who had got the default and completion dates wrong. The vast majority have been corrected but a few still re...

Good luck with Barclaycard. I have now sent them 3 copies so far this year of my IVA acceptance in 2006 and completion in 2007 and they still have not updated the default date on my credit reports as it currently shows it 4 months later than actual. They are now stopping me from clearing my credit r...

I'll see if I can paste a few things. CRA report Court Information and other public records Judgments are issued as a result of County or High Court action. If a Creditor/Claimant (the person looking to claim the money from you) is owed a sum of money by you they may raise a claim against you in eit...

Right, they now say that the court record is the IVA I had accepted in 2006 and completed in 2007. I have tried to say that as the IVA is completed there should not be a current court record. Don't actually know if this is true!?!? I know the IVA stays on the CRA's for 6 years but I would have thoug...

As I have never had a CCJ I have now asked Equifax for the details of why they believe I ever had one.
Thanks for all the help, and sorry to confuse you all as I originally thought the CCJ was there because of the IVA.
Both Experian and Callcredit show no CCJ's against me, it's just Equifax.

Now I am really confused, I have never had a CCJ against me and 2 of the 3 CRA show no CCJ's but one does.
I assumed I got the CCJ because of the IVA.
So now I had better ask for details of the CCJ as I now believe it should not be there at all.
Still confused though.
