Well after a very long wait and a long vetting procedure, I'm pleased to say that I start my new job next week. I was upfront about my IVA and my new manager was very positive that it wouldn't be a problem. Just thought I would update the forum, so that people can see an IVA doesn't always hold you ...

This is just to see if anyone has been in the same position. I have my CC but IVA will be on file until 2017. I'm applying for a cleaning job with a contractor to clean in a high street bank and will be subject to a vetting procedure by the bank, even though I will be a key holder and be on the prem...

After paying a f&f in July of this year, I received my completion certificate yesterday, which was a great surprise, as I really expected to wait at least the stated six months. Thanks to all on the forum for their support, particularly Foggy, who has a wealth of good advice. I've still got to wait ...

Hi Tiva, I thought I would answer your post as I'm in the process of finalising my iva. I'm assuming the variation is a deed of assignment? If so, many people are being asked to sign, put simply, it allows closure of your iva, while the PPI investigation continues. If you don't sign, it has been pos...

I had the same from DFD and read it very carefully, it is really to aid a quicker closure of your IVA. My only advice is to return it recorded delivery so that it has to be signed for. DFD are getting a reputation for "losing" them, I signed and returned one in Dec 2013, and have just had to sign a ...

Like you at the beginning, I was very worried that I would be rejected as there was no Plan B. I was reassured however, by being told that due to the amount of work proposing a new IVA it is not undertaken lightly and therefore will only be put forward if it has a very good chance of being accepted....

After having my f&f accepted DFD have contacted me asking me to sign a Deed of Assignment. I actually did this in December 2013 as a change in terms of my IVA, which they now say they can't find, and are sending me another to complete. The problem is it has to be witnessed and no-one knows that I'm ...
