I've had an email from Aperture Debt Solutions who say they have funds to send me from a closed IVA with DFD. They are requesting my bank details - is this a scam?

You don't have a choice when your in an iva it seems to me, you have to go with the company that your IP and IVA company choose to use.

I had the same from DFD and read it very carefully, it is really to aid a quicker closure of your IVA. My only advice is to return it recorded delivery so that it has to be signed for. Like you at the beginning, I was very worried that I would be rejected as there was no Plan B. I was reassured however, by being told that due to the amount of work proposing a new IVA it is not undertaken lightly and therefore will only be put forward if it has a very good chance of being accepted....

Just an update - a very nice man working at the Halifax Building Society has witnessed and signed the Deed of Assignment for me at no cost.
