					i. Does anyone know if I can apply for a DRO if I have any involvement with a Ltd company? I am not a director, the company is purely used as a membership as such to run the outgoing costs between 5 members. We are all sole traders and no earnings or profit is run through the Ltd company. Hope that ...

Hi. I wondered if someone may be able to offer some advice. I understand someone that is in or previously been in an IVA can become a director of a limited company, but what if the party in question has current defaults on their credit file? The IVA has been completed for some time now, but is still...

Hi. I have been struggling to make any payments to my 3 creditors for around 6 months and things don't look like they are going to improve. I am about to sell my car. The money I get from this would cover about 50-55% of my debt. I literally have no disposable income from month to month. Any ideas h...

I've got my meeting tomorrow for my proposed F&F. Fingers crossed it is accepted. I'm sure I won't sleep tonight! I have made 16 payments so far = £3200. The iva was based on 60 months of £200 pm. So a total of £12000 to be paid. My offer was £8000 + payments made to date, given a total £11200. It s...

Hi, I recently made an offer for f&f via my in laws, this should go through mid June should it be accepted. I have just been offered voluntary redundancy, the sum I would take is around 3 times what the offer is. I plan to use some of the money to finally do a driving instructor course. There is obv...

Thanks Melanie, it is actually run through one of your colleagues at jones Giles. I calculated that I have paid £2,200 so far, taking the total down to £9,800, minus any fees. It that about right? I wouldn't want to put it forward if it wasn't good enough,

Hi, it's been a while since I posted on here. I am 11 payments into my iva. I pay £200 per month. Therefore it was forecasted that I would repay a total of £12,000 back to my creditors. I work for the prison service and many of you will have seen in the news that they are closing a number of establi...
