I closed my hsbc account and withdrew all my funds very early on into applying for an iva, I switched to a natwest step account, which is as mentioned a basic account, I have no overdraft, no switch card or cheque book, this is a much better option for me as I have no access to credit, which is bril...

barclays are still chasing me, even though my iva was approved last wednesday, i have had 3 phone calls at work and a letter sent to my home address, are they wrong to do this then?

Approved today, a massive weight off my shoulders, maybe now I can live my life without the stress of wondering how I am going to pay my bills, I can now live like a 27 year old should..........needless to say I have learnt a lesson in life.....59 months to go

offered £350 a month, which works out at I think 42p/£1 return to the creditors......

Hi I am new to the forum and am currently in the process of trying to get an iva, my creditors meeting is on the 16th may and I am more stressed now waiting for the decision than i was when i was in debt!
