I wouldn't say that not having a property to protect constitutes a mis-sold iva. I chose an iva and don't have any assets to protect and many of our posters in ivas rent. back in 2008 i was told my iva had been mis sold back in 2005 as i did not own property uk bankruptcy (now bankrupt) who advised me this took me through going bankrupt was about half way through the 5 years and they where going to a class action against my iva provider (free from debit) can you tell...
