My ex wife and i are in an iva with Harrington brooks,has been running for 16months,its likely i will be made redundant next week,we live in seperate houses but have kept a joint iva If i dont get back into a job immediately its likely i will lose my privately rented house,i will receive some redund...

just to ask this as i had forgotten,over the phone the iva asked if the payments were reduced to £400 could we manage,we said no,but if we did pay £400 do we get to keep the equity?

thanks again but i was sure we had to pay the remainder over,? we will send the forms monday,were still doing a joint iva even though were divorcing because i feel its only fair as my wifes having both kids,her choice not mine but seems fair,and they did advise it would be quicker to sort 1 meeting ...

thanks davey thats sound advice however the maths dont work out,because my wife and i are splitting up we are of course paying 2 rents £400 and £500 (mortgage was 600) 2 of everything so we cant possibly still have £470 a month available to save up for bankruptcy,as regards the variation meeting we ...

i dont have £750 and if anything of value is taken thats my car gone and i have no other way of getting to work,
Really hope it doesnt come to that,my brother in law lost his job (worked for council) when he declared bankruptcy 8yr ago

But the fees to declare yourself bankrupt are huge plus from what i gather they take anything of any value? goodbye car, goodbye job,hope it doesnt come to that
