Absolutely I would need to that in the spirit of full disclosure bearing in mind how important honesty is in these positions.

My question still stands though - is there a way someone can find out an IVA existed once the register and credit file is clean?

Thanks for your help/advice everyone

Guys/Experts, I need some guidance/help. I work in the finance industry and completed by IVA in July last year (F&F early settlement). I am off the register and have tidyied up my credit file (with the help of the ICO) and all will disappear at the end of November. During my IVA my career took off a...

I think the way you have been treated is absolutely disgusting. I suffered at the hands of the imbeciles at GT and can only echo the thoughts of Juliannes, the louder you shout and the more fuss you create the more GT will take notice. Make sure you follow through with the regulator and consider wri...

EIC are GT. They are one and the same. By far the WORST company in the UK in my opinion.

Ask GT for a 'declaration of no claim' which you can sign that says you will not claim against PPI now or ever. Infact you should insist they let you have it. Like you i never had PPI because i knew what con it was.

I was contacted by ICM on behalf of GT who were doing a customer satisfaction survey. I certainly got a few thing off my chest! Will they listen to feedback? I wont hold my breath but they seem to have taken some steps to try and understand what their customers think. Like Melanie said, make sure yo...

I literally went to war with GT regarding all of this and found if you stamp your feet and shout loud enough you will make progress. There is form that states you will never claim PPI that you can sign that GT provided to me after many many many phone and complaints. My advice, demand it, ask to spe...

Absolutely agree with your MerlinL14. Some companies ride rough shot over their clients with bullyboy tactics to make an extra buck or two. They simply do not CARE about their clients which is shameful really. IP's at some companies are like mystical beings that are rumoured to exist. Why cant these...

Loujess - i had a total and utter nightmare with GT. My advice is just keep ringing and emailing, the more you become a pain in their behinds the more notice they take off you. At times i resorted to ringing every hour on the hour until i could speak to someone who would actually listen. Keep your c...

I find this absolutely outrageous. It is nothing more than blatant profitering dressed up us IP responsibility to get as much money for the creditors. Most of these PPI companies are owned now or have had significant investment from IVA companies which means not only do they take 25% of the IVA pot ...
