Yes 6 years passed in November. I would expect it to drop of automatically. The only thing that makes me uneasy about that is I checked my Experian one last month, and it was still there. They only removed it when I queried it and sent them a copy of my completion certificate

I had to contact Experian with my completion certificate to get it removed, and thought I might have to do the same with Equifax I'm worried that my IVA ...

My IVA started on 7/11/2005, and I made the last payment in January 2011 (2 payment holidays)

I was expecting it to disappear from my credit report after 6 years from the start, but I've just ordered my report from Experian, and it's still there! Why is this?

You need to write to them and tell them to remove the defaults although it might not be worth it now as they should drop off at the beginning of next year anyway.
Is it MAX Recovery I need to write to, or Experian?

Thank you for the welcome and replies! I'll contact the big 3 then, is it as simple as writing to them with a cheque, or is there another way. Looking forward to being free of it completely - my last payment was in January - at then my payment was £800 a month (they put it from £700 a month for the ...

My IVA was agreed with creditors on November 7th 2005 As I understand it, the IVA remains on my credit record for 6 years. Therefore I was expecting it to stay on until November this year. Just done a credit check through annualcreditcheck.co.uk, and there's nothing on my credit record, no insolvenc...
