Solicitor has been dealing with the IVA company and they are dragging their heals in every way possible. They say they have sent faxes and letters an...

IVA in his name only, dont remember signing anything but not too sure now. There is equity in the house to pay the IVA off, but this will leave him with nothing to come out with from his half, so will they take the whole lot of his half or do they do settlement figures where they can negotiate. I am...

Relocation costs? I have sat and worked out the equity in the house as once sold it would leave 28,000 each. I contacted MDC and they said that he has paid 2,270 already and if they took that off then he would pay 10,000, however if there is equity on his side of the sale then he would owe the amoun...

Jan, thanks for replying. 19,000 is the debt in full. So does this mean there will be the fees to the IVA that they would of taken. I presume the 19,000 would be the amount we would have to pay back as only been in the IVA for a year this June, and pay 220.00 a month for it?

Sorry Jan, yes with MDC, just realised it was an abbreviation. The sale of the house from his half would pay off the IVA, but I dont understand how it will work fully. I thought that if the house sells then the IVA can be paid off , if the debt was 19,000 surely this is the amount that is then paid ...

What is MDC?
When you say IVA amount and Creditor amount, does that mean the extra that the company have charged for the process in the first place?

The house has equity in it and would pay off his IVA in full and the sale of the property would pay my own debts to creditors. How do we go about getting the IVA lifted off the house or asking for ...

Thank you for your message. What is the meetin date? Nobody mentioned a meeting date. We were told that the creditors meet, or kind of, they tend to not meet in person, they decide and then we get to know, Is the meeting one where we are supposed to go?
