Not sure - I haven't seen much information about the scheme rules yet.

Keep googling it and you may find the details in the terms and conditions.

As the others have said - I would never go with a 'cold calling' company.

Prefer to do all my own research and luckily found a little gem in Mike Peoples who helped us find the solution to our debt problems!

How long has your daughter been in an IVA? Does she claim all benefits possible? A payment break can be arranged if there has been a change of income. Unfortunately the IVA company are correct in stating you cannot add the debts you have incurred to her IVA. There may be steps you can take to help y...

I think the only way to look at this is if you were not in an IVA and received an inheritance you would, in all probabilities, pay off your debts. So it's just the same scenario really. I think I would negotiate if my car was very old and I needed it for work or if something like a boiler needed rep...

I agree with Foggy on this one.

We ended our IVA in year 1 with a full and final but still have to wait until the 6 year anniversary before it is removed from our credit files.

I think if this has been allowed up until now you have probably been lucky.

I haven't seen any gym fees this high being accepted. Would you be able to make savings elsewhere?

Do you mean clear 100% of your original debt plus fees? If so then it should be easy to arrange.

If it would clear the 'expected dividend' then the IVA would still continue. I would save the 25% if this is the case for rainy days!

No - you cannot negotiate with your creditors whilst in an IVA.

This can only be done by your IP - there is a lot of paperwork to complete before calling a variation meeting. Stick with it - and good luck with your full & final offer
