TheMatrix and Stormsylv: many thanks for this advice ....I will follow this to help clear up my credit files now that I've received my completion certificate.

Will my details drop off the Insolvency Register automatically or do I have to request it?

Many thanks Melanie...we both felt VERY lucky to have found this forum and your team at the right time back in 2007...you ensured we took the right solution and made our journey possible! Lol although I will not miss being in an IVA per se, I will perhaps miss the pressure to keep such a close eye o...

Hi, Just to say that I've never had any problems renting privately using an agency and as Melanie says, honesty is the best policy! The only issue I had was that in some cases I had to pay a little more than one months rent as a deposit. Just to add that two members of staff (from different estate a...

Thanks Arty. I made my first payment on 22nd June 2007 and last payment on 22nd June 2012....the slight delay in receiving the completion certificate was due to some outstanding paperwork my ex had to provide. Melanie and her team have been fantastic and I would definitely recommend her to others (a...

Many thanks to all for the supportive comments! :) Sponge, many thanks for the tip about savings account..who are YBS? Are they Yorkshire Bank? I used to have the Nationwide Flexi account (included in IVA) and they definitely won't lend me a pen for a very long time! ;) Also, is there no benefit at ...

Very true Kallis3 - it must make his eyes water a bit! :) I wonder if he is subject to the same budgetary constraints (e.g. CCCS-type guidelines)or whether the 'former' rich but still famous are allowed extra allowances to maintain aspects of their lifestyles......so that they can move in the circle...
