I think it's unfair that a partners income is taken into consideration if they have not g...

Longslog you can complain to the ombudsman and ask for compensation for distress . I've done it x3 and won as they refused to change my defaults . Once I've had to pay up as I needed the default off quickly ,but still challenged it and won .

I got news off the ombudsman recently that the creditors are bound by the terms of your iva whether they claim or not so you should get that certificate . You have waited long enough. I was with dfd too

I have had nat west send me many of these recently that 3 years after my full and final. I Ignored them as they were not on my credit file. Then they sold the debt to a company which I got annoyed about so I phoned that company and told them it's on an old iva. The letters have stopped now

Hi I wouldn't cancel it but I would challenge it. Check your yearly statement if you have one and contact your Ip and say you want to complain. Complain through the right channels and if it doesn't work and you don't owe anything take it further . Hope you get it sorted out

BR as you can move on quicker.
No idea why we didn't just do that as we gave up our house anyway. The clear up post iva can be hard . Not for everyone but in my case nearly 3 years down the line I am still fighting debts that should have been wiped off due to my iva.
It's an individual choice .
