Don't think I could have kept it from them much longer. My house that got repo'd is plastered all over right move for all to see so its been hard to hide.

It's a handy scheme if you have the room. Anyone who can should take advantage before the government scrap that as well.

Also another option, if the house is big enough to to rent out a room - and stay in it yourself. not only does that help with the running costs but - you dont have the situation where you have empty property trying to let. If my memory serves me right you can earn £5500 per year on this tax free It...

Just out of curiosity does anyone use Zoopla? I have found them quite accurate when it came to the valuation of my house. Unless Estate Agents are getting lazy and using that more often?

I remember when I hadn't told my Parents about my situation. It was very hard and they would always pick up on how grumpy and stressed I was. I must admit that finally telling them the truth was such a relief. Maybe a good time to discuss things with them now??

I can tell you from personal experience that Renting out a house is a lot of hassle. If you are splitting do you intend to move back to the house? Would it be better to sell? If you need to know more about renting then I will be happy to help.

They seem very stubborn. I asked them to keep me on interest on only until the end of my IVA then I would have a lot of surplus that I could put into the morgage to "catch up"

Mine is a 6 year. Northern Rock were the reason for this. Might even be 7 if my House goes up in value.

Yeah I am going to speak with them on Monday. All the old feelings have come back now though so feeling restless and anxious. Just when I thought I was back on track.

I am very doubtful of being able to swallow, unless we start seriously enjoying tesco value range for groceries. So it is a bit unrealistic to even consider that but I have to look at every angle i guess.
