After chatting with my wife we have just stopped both the IVA and MORTGAGE payments with the bank so the way forward no matter how difficult is BR and another home!!

My son is 21 now and I had not heard from the CSA for about 8 years!

My issue with them is the amount they say is way to high and not that I do not owe some money as I know I do!!

I do not understand why they will not let me pay over say 10 years instead of about 3?

I spoke to my IP and it seems going BR is my best option!! They did say that because my house in todays market is worth less than what my mortgage is that i will still get to keep it! Although this is good news to be honest i am ok with having to give it up and go back to renting of the local counci...

Thanks for your reply!!

The problem is that our iva is £215, Mortgage £353 & CSA payments will be £238 and i get just over £900 a month wages and my wife gets just £160 a month part time!! It is hard to see where any money is left out of that for us to live on!!
