The claim was made without my agreement, or knowledge. DFD ceased any relationship with me in Jan 2012, this claim was started by EIF in July 2012, six months after I completed. They did not contact me at all and I knew nothing of their actions until today. That's what's angered me. They've acted in...

Hi and thanks Melanie - I'm not blaming DFD for this at all, I'm merely trying to get some clarification as I've been trying for months to get an answer from DFD and it's like getting blood from a stone... My IVA is closed and my CC was sent out in January, I've been trying to get an answer from the...

Hi all, I made my last payment in August last year, paying 100% of debt plus fees and VAT. My debts were approx 50k - with another 10k added with fees and VAT. My query is regarding the VAT ruling - what exactly should I have paid VAT on and what is excluded? On my final statment it says I paid 1400...

To assume that the debt would have been paid sooner without the IVA fees would be wrong - without knowing the full details of a person's circumstances we can't comment on what the best solution for any given individual is - which is why the advice given on the forum generally points to consulting a ...

We paid 100% and were always going to from the outset - that means we also paid all the fees and the interest which was around 11k - some said that maybe we shouldn't have entered an IVA being in a position to pay back everything within the 5 years, but it was a decision we made. When you think abou...

not if you've paid a 100% dividend plus fees it isn't - I'd like to see any company try to force that one lol

I paid 100% of my debts, plus all the fees and such - I received a claim pack from EIF around the time of my last payment to DFD. They then rang me and told me that I needed to return the pack to them. I simply told them that since I'd paid all my debts, plus the fees there was no obligation for me ...

Just to add my bit as someone who has paid 100% dividend (as set out in my original proposal) - I doesn't matter what the dividend is or ends up to be, the IVA is a legal arrangement with legal terms and conditions - these should be adhered to by all parties. Plenty of people moan about creditor har...

My IVA was always based on 100% dividend - so I paid the fees too. My fees were around the 8.5k mark (haven't got paperwork to hand) and yes this may seem a bit high but when I consider the interest I would have paid, the fact that I couldn't get myself out of the situation I had gotten into and the...
