That's the only negative thing I can think about the BR now. I wish i could win the lottery or something. That would be so much better.

I wish burying my head in the sand was an option :(

Maybe I could get my dad to insure it for me? I know we are a risk - maybe they think we'll make claims up to get money?

Hi again,

What effect does going BR have on taking out insurance? I applied for house insurance the other day and they asked if you had ever been BR. What effect will it have on insurance?

Thanks and apologies for asking so many questions

I really feel they are putting me under pressure to go down the IVA route. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much :)

They (CCCS) are calling me back at 1pm to see which route to go down but I just dont feel ready to commit to either.

Thanks again,

Many thanks Andy. Will the bankruptcy be held against me until the day I die?

Hi, Is there anyone out there - a company other than the CCCS (but who are good/reputable) who can advise me? I’m not sure if I should go BR or get an IVA. The CCCS were very anti BR and believed I should give the creditors something rather than sticking two fingers up at them and giving them nothin...

Thans guys, and Jan, I think the problem is they are concerned about financial institutions views on br rather than the iva - that i will be 'blacklisted' and never be able to do anything with my life after. I have talked to the CCCS and they are very much pushing me towards and IVA (the guy i spoke...

Many thanks, I was just concerned about the value. I'm now struggling as I wanted to go BR (and my family told me to do it) but other people are telling me to get and IVA because I will be screwed forever with a BR - no one will ever touch me. They also told me not to go with the CCCS as their limit...

Hi, I'm thinking of going BR in a month or so (I have to get my rented living arrangements sorted, but now understand if I go BR, my new landlord might throw me out). Sorry, back to the point. In May this year I spent £939 of money that I had (not credit) on a macbook. I'd like to know if the OR wil...
