I'm a director of my limited company, but assume that I'd resign and appoint a family member as director. My income/expenditure spreadsheet shows a negative surplus. This explains how I got into the debt. However, I haven't used a credit card for the last two years, living soley on income. I need to...

However, after calculating the 2009/2010 tax bill and creating detailed spread-sheets of income and expenditure I find I cannot support an IVA. Doesn't being self employed make bankruptcy a problem? I'd rather not say who'...

Hello Having worked with an IVA company I have found that my self employed income is not enough to support an IVA (explains the debt problem if nothing else!) I calculated my 2009/2010 self assessment tax and submitted it to HMRC. I have the cash to pay the tax but not enough for the 2011 payment on...

Hello
I'm not connected to this company but bought car tyres online for almost half the cost of tyres from a famous national company who are 'very fast'.

Nearest fitting place was an hour's drive away, but I saved £180!!!

Hello Spoke to an IP company at lunchtime today - really nice lady. Reassuring and kind. Looks likely that I'll be able to half my debt over the 5 year period with repayments that are half of what I'm trying to pay now [:)] Plus its only 5 years, whereas struggling with minimum credit card payments ...

Hello I'm getting all my income, expenditure and debt figures together ready to call an IP this week. However, I received a letter yesterday from a creditcard company demanding immediate payment of a sum I can't afford. If I don't pay they will send a debt collector. I've written a reply asking them...

hello Having over-extended myself I now need to decide between an IVA and bankruptcy. It was all so easy - I had a fantastic credit rating and card companies fell over themselves to give me zero percent interest and kept increasing my credit limit. Unfortunately, I had a spell of unemployment and th...
