Your IVA will drop off the insolvency register automatically so keep checking, one day you will find that when you search for your IVA your file will not be found. Mine dropped off around a week after recieving my certificate but some take longer and others are sooner. After recieving my completion ...

I agree. The three credit reference agencies have a legal obligation to have the correct details showing on your credit file. Although my name was removed from the insolvency register, Experian failed to remove the IVA from my records and I had to push them to correct my file which they did but it d...

Mine was showing for 6 years 3 months and even then, while I was off the Insolvency Register and my IVA was removed from Equifax and Call Credit, it remained showing as active with Experian so I had to contact them to remove it. It is all meant to be automatic but do keep a check on all three agenci...

I think he means that if you personally chose to make a claim through a claims company and the money claimed was deemed to have gone into the IVA then you would be liable to pay the claims company out of your own pocket. ie: claims company claimed £10000, all of this money goes into the IVA, claims ...

Hi, With Noddle I applied online and my report was then made available immediately. Experian I had to wait for a pin number to be sent to me through the post before accessing my report. Equifax I had to call them and then email a copy of my driving license and a bank statement to access my file. I s...

Hi
It is the original default date that matters which should be no later than the IVA start date.
It is perfectly normal with Noddle to see the acount being defaulted each month (red circles) but as soon as six years expire from the original default date they will all drop off.

Hi. I found experian to be the slowest out of the three. For the subsription they charge you would expect them to be on the ball but I have a sneaky suspicion that they like to drag things out to get the extra month subsription out of their clients. There is nothing you can do as they have 28 days t...

Hi
I have no idea on this one but must say that it seems very strange to me.
Hopefully one of the experts may be able to advise but I expect that you should contact your IP as soon as possible to find out why your IVA is being shown as discharged on your credit files.

Hi Heretoday Though I have no experience of PPI claims or even third parties claiming on my behalf, having read this thread I am truly shocked. First of all I would like to say that I have read your previous threads which were eventually locked and I must confess that I did think that you were maybe...

Hi geordie123 Glad to hear that Karol has helped you with your case, she really is an asset to GT and I do hope you get your closure documents very soon as 15 months is way too long to wait for your certificate whatever the circumstances. I waited around the same amount of time for mine. Have they g...

Hi After reading this post I would be very interested to hear an experts view on this 15% reduction rule. Even though it doesnt affect me as my payments never had to be reduced below my original monthly payment, I always believed that it was at the IPs discretion whether to allow a reduction of up t...
