My husband was granted some Restricted Stock Units when he joined his company and some are available to sell. If we sold them could the proceeds be used for a lump sum payment to settle our arrangement? I know normally share proceeds are treated as a windfall but given that these were gifted by the ...

There isn't a lot more any of us can say. I feel for you. It's so easy to get lost in imagining the worse case scenario. Try to live alongside your money worries and fears. Go for a walk, get some more sleep, give yourself a break. Many of us on here have felt worried and anxious and couldn't imagin...

Ox....sorry I haven't been on here for a long time. We commenced our IVA in July 2010. We have 3 young children who were only 6,4 and 2 at the time and I completely understand how hard you are finding it. I remember thinking how we had let the children down, how their future was so unsecure, what if...

Hi All, I hardly ever come on here but just wanted to touch base and give some support, words of encouragement etc. to those just starting their IVA journey or trying to make their way through it. We entered into an IVA in July 2010 so I am glad to say we are nearly 3 years in which I can't believe!...

As TheMatrix says, financial positions are often viewed differently and y...

Just to update - we had a positive outcome - as we had increased payments anyway, our payments have been reduced down to the original payment schedule until we get a tenant - so we can get by without going to a variation meeting. IP was very understanding and it was all surprisingly painless!
