Good News! We have just heard from GT that our IVA has been reviewed! Now only have to pay 2 months instead of 12!!! It's taken months to resolve but if you keep asking why at some point someone listens! GT have now agreed that we only have to pay the equity that is available which works out at 2 mo...

I have answered on your other post - but I have to say I feel you are being poorly advised. Are you actually dealing with the IP appointed to your case, and which firm are you with?
WE are with GT. Never dealt with by Mark Allan.

We're at the end of year 4. We need to remortage for £3k(No chance). Have asked about variation to do extra six months (worth £8.5K) to avoid paying extra year. IVA company as telling us not to do it as 99% aren't accepted. Advised we could end up paying more. Advice please!

At the end of year 4. Need to remortgage for £3K (Not a chance). Have been advised that the variation we wanted to offer (pay extra 6 months) will be 99% likely to be refused. This was worth £8.5K. Any advice please? Seems deeply unfair. We have also looked at offering a lump sum but we were told no...

Where do I find information about amounts to claim? We have a budget which was set 3.5 years ago and I'm not sure if we claim for everything or even claim enough. At the moment for a family of 4 our food and household budget is £400. Really interested in knowing if I can claim the cost of feeding my...

I spoke to a girl in the customer service department (didn't get her name). The problem I had was she wouldn't/couldn't offer any flexiability. I do think the service you get is dependant on who answers the phone!

I pay £1200 per month to GT. Due to temporary change in job I'm taking home £92 per month less. I have just phoned and asked for a reduction in payments (£92) until sept. Been turned down! Really cross as I'm paying £200 per month more than agreed by court for last 6 months. Have been told that I ne...
