I understand they have done it in good faith but when you weigh up looseing time with kid for no more money then i know which i would choose. Moral arguement aside does a 5000 settlement seem realistic if i explain risk of redundancy etc

Thanks for the replies. After looking at the rebate form again i realised that its for a tax year before the IVA was set up. Sorry for the confusion.

Does this make any difference to wether it should all be paid to iva or partly?

Again i agree. I am going to wait untill the change and then suggest that i get insurance on my job incase of redundancies as it may come around next year and i need to protect my mortgage. do u think they will agree to protect an asset?

i thought that to. When i started my current employment i was still being paid for three months by my previouse employer. so at the time my tax code was correct. that all went on july - sep 08. i started my iva july 09 so it should have been noticed.
