I've spoken to GT and they advised that still bound by IVA rules until certifcate comes through- so cannot obtain credit.
Doesnt bother me that had to cancel- not worth risking after 5 years, will just re-apply when fully completed they've accepted me once so fingers crossed for next time.

I thought it would be ok as i thought i'd read in my propsal that i could get up too £500 credit- but i've rechecked and now cant see that now (maybe i'd read it on here somewhere over the years!) Hello,
I've made my last payment to GT last month, and have applied for a credit card (i've been accepted for £500)it arrived today. however im now worried that this might effect my certificate coming though.
Can someone please advise? should i cancel?

well, just spoken to Lauran at GT. As i am not a homeowner the review they did in March is sufficient. Case been passed to the review team today, fingers crossed everything is as expected!! Whoop Whoop- roll on November for completion certificate!
There is light at the end of the tunnel!!

no i rang them and queried this as the letter did not mention final. The just said send the usual stuff. Sounds like i'm going to have to go through all the waiting again. Will call them at 9 to see what they say.

Final payment had left my account this morning!
What happens now? How long should i leave it before calling GT?
I had an i&e review in march, will i need another one for the final 2 months?
