Artemis, Im not too sure, dont you have a set dividend you have to pay back? We owed just under £60k, but with the IVA, had just over 22k to pay back (dividend of 27p in the £). We made 4 years of payments, paying in just over 16k, with 6k to be paid either by equity release, or extension of the IVA...

To do a F&F you have to keep it as close to the original dividend as possible. We initially put forward 5000 from family members, and we had just over 6000 outstanding. Our "IP" said that they werent willing to put it forward as its wasnt what the original dividend would be, so we said 6000, and in ...

We had the same issues with DFD, they are nightmare. IPs there dont speak to their clients, thats what they have customer services for. We demanded on numerous occasions to speak to our IP, and were told that they dont take calls. Our IVA is done now as we did a F&F settlement, but even up to the cr...

I just wanted to say thank you to the creators, and posters of this site, without it, I would not have known we could end our IVA early. Today we have been given the fantastic news that our full and final settlement offer has been accepted, and we are now free!! Yippee!!

Hi we are also with DFD, and have put in a F&F offer. From submitting our request to put forward a F&F, it took them 3 weeks to decide whether or not to put it forward, and it then took them another 3 weeks to draw up the proposal, but only after us basically harrassing them to sort it out, and then...

Thanks Julie and Melanie, I think we'll give the email a go again, and I'll be sure to mention the forum this time!! And hopefully we'll get to speak to her. I do think its bad though, that with these big companies, they make it so difficult to speak to the people actually responsible for your case,...

Thanks Melanie, we do have her e-mail address, but its an issue thats been ongoing for a while now, and I really do think it would be better to speak to her directly over the phone. And we have sent e-mails before that have gone unanswered. DFD just keep telling us that their IPs dont take phone cal...

We are having issues with DFD. Basically we have asked to speak directly with our IP on numerous occasions, and have been told that she doesnt take calls??!! We are getting fed up with DFD customer service staff, as they dont listen to a word we say, and we really need to speak directly to her as I ...

It is hard at first, but you will get used to it. We have been doing it for the last 4 years, and can now see the light at the end of the tunnel. Hang on in there, it will get easier!!

Thank you Declan, but we've only just submitted the offer yesterday, and I know it has been passed to the relevant team to deal with. The lady we've been dealing has been extremely helpful, and I just really wondered what the general timescale would be, if there is such a thing! Thank you guys for y...

Hi guys, After much discussion with our IP, and having now submitted evidence of negative equity in our property, we have officially put forward an offer of full and final settlement to hopefully end our IVA. I just wanted to know roughly how long does it take to set up the variation meeting with cr...

Have you thought about opening a Natwest First Reserve Savings account? Both me and my hubby have one of these (applied for during the IVA) and had no problem with credit checks, and you also get a Solo debit card which comes in very handy, plus on-line banking
