Hi Kallis3,
I really hope so. I find the whole court thing worrying as it's all come in official paperwork too.
I really don't want that kind of stuff on top of me right now in addition to appeasing the creditors with the F&F offer that they agreed to.
Regards
Craig Daddy

Hi All, My IVA was approved on 20th July for F&F. My letters are still coming though not as much as before but I carried on ignoring them which perhaps in hindsight was not the correct thing to do. However, I'm now extremely worried because I got home and opened a letter which turned out to be Count...

Hey All, Fantastic news, my offer got accepted. I'm over the moon, can't get through to the wife yet though! It's a huge relief and the call came an hour early which was even more of a surprise. Thank you all for you huge support and to Melanie Giles & Co. It's a fresh start and and exciting one too...

Thanks all for your posts. I'm supposed to be working from home but I can't concentrate. I'm desperate for the "acceptance" phonecall but have my stomach in knots at the moment. Newstart - I have my fingers crossed for you both. I really hope it goes your way and gives you a fresh start now you know...

Hi All, Well it's finally come to the moment of truth. At 11.00am today is my creditors meeting. I will hopefully find out by 11.30am whether they accept my F&F offer from my parents. It's too late to worry about the what if's, but it doesn't stop me from being nervous and pacing round in my house w...

Hi indebtandnotproud, I have my creditors meeting next Tuesday and all I can think about is "What ifs...". To be honest you are proposing your best offer, as are we all. We can only hope that our creditors see our proposal in the same way which is what Melanie I am sure will communicate. Even now I ...

Hi Guys, Well finally I have the elusive creditors meeting date set for 20th July at 11am. Part of me is excited but the other part (bigger part I think!) is anxious if they say no and drive me down the bankruptcy route. I've finally learned the way of spending within my limits, which is something I...

Hi Kallis, Mel, Thank you both for replying, I think has the time draws closer to a resolution I am getting more and more nervous. I am sure Mel will advise the best course of action, for me my main priority is to keep a roof over my family's head and hope that my creditors accept the offer. It's al...

Hi Guys, I started the process of an IVA almost 4 months ago and I am at the stage of having my final conversation with Melanie this weekend. It's been liberating not depending on credit any more and actually living within my means. It's like starting a new lease of life after struggling with debt f...

Thank you all for your words of wisdom and positive thinking. It's been a real eye opener since I stopped paying creditors just 1 month ago. I have been with Barclays Bank for 24 years, but now I have moved my bank account elsewhere. That itself was quite a change, I still feel a little guilty, and ...

Hi All, I am almost complete in gathering all the documentation required to send to Melaniegiles.com. Could someone possibly help and tell me whether the Bank Statements & Credit Card statements required for IVA document preparation need to be originals or can they be photocopies? On another note, s...

Thank you all for your kind words. I realised one night when I watched my kids sleep, how innocent they were and how my actions could be costing them in the future. It's strange how realization suddenly catches your guard, I really want to do the right thing. I have read your posts in detail, which ...
