Hi Olivia,
Thanks for the quick response. Yes I'm renting, so no mortgage. I have made no claim for PPI, and have not been advised of any changes regarding VAT. So I'm guessing I should be okay

Okay, as far as I am aware, my IVA that I started July/August 2007 should be finishing August/September this year. There was a month added as I broke my collar bone two years ago and was off work for a month. GT agreed to allow me to miss that payment and add it to the end. Other than that I have ne...

Hey everyone, I don't post all that often, and my IVA should be expiring in September. However, my brother has fallen into financial trouble, and has been contacted by Knightsbridge Financial (after being turned down for a loan to consolidate, I'm guessing the bank passed his details on)... does any...

Ok, this one isn't for me this time. My housemate is looking to organise his debt into one lump sum, and Astute finance have offered to help him. But it's only three debts he has, and they only add up to a measly £3k (oh to have such little debt, eh?!?). Plus, they're asking him to sign a payment ag...

Hi everyone, I thought I'd give an update on this. I contacted my IP last month, sending them a copy of the letter. They were very prompt in replying to me, and I haven't heard anything from Wescott since. A big thumbs up from me!

It is already included, in fact it's the chunk of debt that got me into the situation of needing an IVA in the first place. Without that, not only would I have not qualified for an IVA (not enough debt) but I'd have managed fine and would be free of another big loan by now, with just a couple of sma...

I'm wary of informing my IP because if/when they take it up with Wescot, that will only prove to them that I do live at the address on the letter. Going by the hundreds of stories on this and other forums about them, I'm willing to bet that they'll ignore any agreement and just harass me for payment.
