Thanks Mel, I knew nothing of the arears until my OH informed me, he is seeking an IVA himself now, even though the council tax is in my name, can it be included in his IVA?

I understand that you would not want people knowing your in an IVA being in a small community, but I would still discuss with your IP, best to be upfront and disclose information from the start, then at least it wont come back on you at a later date :)

thanks everyone I have email Claire @ Jones Giles, just to keep her in the picture. British Gas have also put my monthly payment up by £10.00, still at least we will be covered for the winter payments.
