thanks again,what would happen(changing tack completely)if i was made redundant receiving £30k approx my current payments are £520.00,would i be able to pay off the iva with the proceeds subject to getting another job.i guess if i was unemployed for any length of time the redundancy money is classed...

How time flies!
Can you advise me what information is normally required for review purposes.
Also due to the increase in the cost of living i.e. fuel costs,gas, electric etc am i able to alter last years figures for budget purposes?

My IVA has been approved but what if i get made redundant,i would get a lump sum of about £35k against debt of £80k, paying 26p/£ would this be used as a final payment or would i have to continue paying £521.00 per month for full term of IVA? also would it be beneficial to take some form of payment ...

i found that if you can take the calls and explain what the situation is and ask for their names it becomes more personal for them,also make sure that they make notes of the call as all that happens is your name and number continues to appear on contact lists on a computer screen and its nothing per...

creditors were, aa loan,mbna,abbey,nat west,gm,debenhams,aa crdt,ge money accepted 100% at 25p.I had always managed to pay so had no previous debt but used bank o/d to susidise payments until max limit

thanks guys, a lot of my planning was down to the invaluble information from vairious threads on this site from which IP to use and how to go about making a strong proposal to the emotional rollercoaster you climb aboard when trying to make swim against the tide.

my creditors meeting was at 3 this afternoon by 3.15 i had phone call 100% approval including MBNA and Abbey,used Grosvenor partners, excellent service. whoooo hooo.
