Hello Melanie, I'm with Jones Giles. I just want to do what's for the best. I'm almost three years in to my plan and still terrified of putting a foot wrong. I don't remember PPI being mentioned when I started my iva. To be honest, I have no idea whether I have been mis sold ppi, it all seems so lon...

I thought I would share this. We can all talk all day about how we get by, but this is a bonus for me. My wife and I like wine (with meals I should add). Obviously in an iva this is a problem when a basic bottle costs more than a fiver. So, I started brewing my own, and it can be done on a tight bud...

I've just had a good trawl of the forum looking at the ppi issues. I have a couple of questions. I am almost 3yrs into a 5yr plan. I went down the ppi claim route before I started my iva; before it was as common as it is today. It wasnt a free service, they knew I wasnt prepared to pay and I didn't ...

Hi all - have to share this. One of our regular treats before reality dawned over our financial situation was to buy a box full of the Thorntons toffee. It tastes heavenly and keeps the wife quiet for ages chewing it. bonus. Anyway it costs about 4 quid a box!! (I've just realized that this is the o...

This is just to thank everyone here on the forum for helping and just being there. My Iva was approved in December and I relied on the forum for support and advice, as a security blanket - you know? Now that the dust is settling etc, today has been my first visit since being approved. I intend to st...
