My IVA started in April 2008 and completes in May 2016 which means my IVA has been in place for 7 years. My question is even though it has not completed. I thought it should only stay on my CRA file 6 years is this correct?

Does any one know the procedure an IVA company must take prior to terminating your IVA? I have arrears but are still paying a regular amount in each month. I did have a deault from them which is now followed with a variation meeting to reduce payments.

When a person enters the IVA do most creditors sell on the debts on at a loss and the new creditor acepts the IVA? I just wondered if banks etc keep these on the books or write them off.

I have over 10 debt with credit cards and unsecured loans and are in a IVA. Can these debts be challenged as unenforceble under the 1974 credit act? I had heard that the cca were not legaly binding and just wondered if being in an IVA should stop me finding out more?

I have just returned my annual review I/E form with DFD. I had arrears of £700 and a missed payment in December. Declan kindly contacted DFD who then emailed me with a proposal that they would extend my IVA by 1 month and asked me to pay an additional £28 per month for 24 months to clear the arrears...

Does any one know about Citibank current accounts. I heard they are easy to open with a normal visa debit card on offer. I have been acepted for a account but not sure if it will be the visa electron card which is not great. I will have my salary credited in to the account.
