Hi Gillian My advise is to check your credit reports carefully. Make sure your default dates are the same as your IVA start date, that way it will all fall off the reports around the same time. I completed in April and my 6 years is up next week but 1 of my creditors is still showing the wrong defau...

Hi Kevin.80 I completed my IVA in April and last week received a cheque for PPI refund. I was not expecting it, I thought all had been paid into my IVA as I started the claims process in May 2012. So I called my IP and after leaving it with him a few days he has just advised to me now that its my ch...

I have written to the creditor asking them to amend the default date. I think its worth writing to your creditors...

Hi I wanted to share the news that I've received my Completion Certificate 7 months after I made my last payment I know compared to some this is a swift completion but I just want to add that it did include 2 PPI claims and a refund of bank charges. Sometimes it felt like I had to move mountains and...

Hi Mary73

I also claimed PPI back from HSBC who refused to pay out in September last year.

I got a phone call yesterday and they have now decided to payout on the condition they can take their share of the refund before my other creditors.

Its worth fighting, don't give up.

I made the final payment into my IVA last august and although I'm still awaiting my completion certificate, I have to say the best thing i did was go into an IVA. I was in what felt like meltdown in 2007. Yes an IVA is tough but now I've come out the other side and for me its been worth all of the s...

Hi Jeano99

I made my final payment in August and am now waiting the completion certificate.

I was with Kingsgate and have to say other than few niggles which were sorted out of the phone I've not experienced anywhere near some of the horror stories posted on this forum.

Good Luck to you

Hi I thought I would just post an update with regards to my PPI & Bank Charges claims with HSBC. Previously HSBC had refused to payout on my PPI claim due to my IVA (I understand this is being disputed by the PPI Claim Companies). So you can imagine my surprise yesterday when I received a letter fro...
