I have by chance recently found some old credit card statements going back to 2004 & 2005 that show I was paying a heck of a lot of PPI on three cards. AS the accounts are old, would I be better off using a company to have a go for me? I have found one that seems reputable who will do it at 9% which ...

As mentioned in a previous post, I have a default on my Noddle/Call Credit record that is over 6 years old, but it's still showing on my record. I wrote to them asking them to remove it as it was over 6 years old and they have refused. I can understand them refusing if the default was not more than ...

I was expecting a default to drop off my Noddle credit record as the date of default was 27th March 2006, but lo and behold it's still there. It's a default form the dreaded Egg. Was I wrong to expect it to drop off automatically, and what do I have to do to get it removed, as without it on there,my...

I've been out of my IVA for 18 months, and only recently managed to get a Vanquis card, despite being on the electoral roll and keeping all payments on everything up to date. I hadn't checked my Call Credit record, and when I did, I found that the dreaded EGG still had me down as defaulting some 6 m...

Lem, I thought I would feel the same, but having done without for 5 years,I just thought it would be nice to have a new bed, and a wardrobe without using all my own money.

I certainly won't use credit for anything frivolous ever again that's for sure.

I realise my IVA hasn't dropped off my credit report yet, it should next month, but apart from opening a catalogue account, I haven't been able to secure a loan (I was hoping to buy some new furniture for my flat without the inflated catalogue prices!) I just wonder if anyone has once the six years ...

I signed up for online access to my credit report, and was surprised to find that it looked squeaky clean, but I actually added my previous address, as part of the service was to check your details weren't being traded illegally, and what do you know, as soon as I linked my previous address, all the...

I checked my Experian credit report, and Egg have defaulted me after the date of my IVA, the only people that have!

To get them to correct it, do I write to their old address, or will there be anew one now they've been bought by Barclays?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

My IVA finished last August, and I have recently accessed my Experian credit report, and there is no mention of the IVA whatsoever, less than 12 months after completion!

Are the gods smiling on me, or could it still be on one of my other credit rpeorts say Call credit or Equifax do you think?

Get those defaults changed otherwise you'll be turned down for everything!

It was the infamous Egg who were stopping me getting a Vanquis card as they defaulted me pretty much 2 years after the start date of my IVA!

Grrr..............

I completely understand your frustration, it's exactly how I felt at that point, as you're so near, yet so far from the end of it. The last two years were really difficult, but I persevered, and am now enjoying the fruits of my endeavours eight months after finsishing the IVA, and can't believe only...
