Another one here! I was in shock when I added it all up and it was at least double yours. I have told quite a few people but not my dad as he would be devastated/ angry.
I feel so much better know it is under control and please don't be ashamed you are taking steps to pay back as much as possible.
Hi !! Please don't be ashamed it can happen to anyone as my husband and I both know ! At least I suppose we have each other to confide in but you are in the right place ! There's always a solution and plenty of people to help who don't judge and make the darker days a bit brighter !!
hiya and welcome, as everyone has said most of us on this forum have been in exactly the same place you are now, for whatever the reason, unfortunatly it happens. no need to be ashamed at least you are facing up to things and trying to address the problem. i'm a single mum and told no one of the extent of my debt or my iva, ive made mistakes and i know there are people who would judge me harshly, but no need to be worried you wont find any of those on here!
check out a few companys see who you feel comfortable with, and even after the initial phone call i guarantee you will feel so much better x

Hello from me too,
I know exactly how you feel, we haven't told anyone in our family, but like Waitingnworried has said, we have each other to confide in. I have also gone through (and still do from time to time) the ashamed feelings. But, it takes a lot of guts to own up and try to find a solution.
We have a long time to go, we can't just spend like we used to (but hey, look where that got us), but, we can see a time in the not too distant future when we will be debt free.
Definately no need to feel ashamed at all - instead you should be feeling positive about tackling your debts especially as you have the support of this great forum - but nothing beats taking actual professional advice so could I encourage you to contact an insolvency practitioner to find our what options are available to you so you can make an informed choice about how to deal with this problem.
