I have just checked my credit file with Noddle and Santander Uk have given me a default on my file back in 2011 when it should have been 2010 when my IVA started
If you have completed then send a copy of your completion to Santander and ask them to remove the default back to the start of the IVA.

You need to write to the Data Controller at Santander.

I received a letter from them on 11/09/16 and ignored it as I assumed it was just for my records sort of thing, but when the latest update was 12/10/16, then I thought there was something wrong.
Spoke to Santander yesterday and they could not have been any more helpful. They realised that the dates were incorrect and that they would pass my case on to the people that do the magic with credit reference agencies and said that the change will happen within 10 days. If not, then to contact them and they will chase it up.
Thanks for the help everyone. Soon have a happy credit file.

I thought I would see if Santander has adjusted my file and I can not tell. Here is the info I found on check my file. It is listed at worst status as a partial settlement but still showing as a default.

UPDATE:
I spoke to McDuffy's earlier today who advised me that it should have been a default and it should have dropped off, so I contacted Santander again. After being on hold for 5 minutes, it turns out that things must have been crossed over as the default was removed yesterday. Coincidence or what!! lol
Just glad it was sorted and Santander has been very helpful as possible.
