Santander took over abbey who were one of my creditors. They did however sell my debt the them onto Max Recovery. Hope I'm not going to have problems with this particular creditor as abbey did default me some 4 months after my IVA agreement date.
We're willing to wipe the slate clean, give you a fresh start. All that we're asking in return is your cooperation.

Hi,i too have had problems with Santander. My current mortgage deal expires this month and they wont give me a new deal.I have to go on to there variable rate. When i questioned them about it they said its because im in an IVA.
Also Aviva have refused to carry on our House and contents insurance.
I have never missed any payments to either of the above and have been in my IVA for 4 years.
Must be down to new legislation what with current economic climate.
Hi, funny you should say that about mortgage, I have two separate mortgage loans, one I was able to refix in April of this year but when I tried to fix the other one they said no and I have been in an IVA since 2007! Did they say that they had recently changed their terms and conditions?
